During operation, the air conditioner dehumidifies the air entering the cabin, causing water vapor to condense on the evaporator core. This condensed water is then channeled away from the system and exits the vehicle, typically near the front passenger side.
This process is essential for maintaining comfortable cabin humidity levels and preventing mold and mildew growth within the vehicle’s ventilation system. The presence of this drainage confirms the proper function of the air conditioning system’s condensation management.
